Also known as private insurance, this is the type of insurance that you get from your employer or buy directly from a health insurance company. Examples of commercial insurance include Preferred Provider Organization (PPO), Health Maintenance Organization (HMO), or Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act (COBRA).

STEP 1: Amgen Safety Net Foundation (ASNF) is a nonprofit patient assistance program established in 2001, sponsored by Amgen®. ASNF was designed to assist patients who have a financial need and are uninsured, or their insurance plan excludes the Amgen medicine. ASNF supports qualifying residents of the United States and its territories. ASNF provides access to every patient who qualifies.
